The objective of this book is to teach students the basic theory and techniques for designing digital systems that consist of logic circuits. Students will study the components of digital systems, and how these components are interconnected to form whole digital systems or digital subsystems.

Digital design is a discipline of designing digital circuits that process and/or move digital information that can be represented by numbers. Signals are either high (at the power supply voltage, typically 5 Volts, 3.3 Volts, etc.) or low(ground, 0 Volts)
