The Internet of Things (IoT) is going to impact the healthcare system in a big way. IoT-Based solutions that include a network architecture that allows the connection  between a patient and healthcare facilities is termed as the Internet of Healthcare Things (IoHT) or Internet of Medical Things (IoMT). IoHT can be used to monitor the patients located in far areas. Various types of monitoring like ECG and diabetes can be done through IoHT. Various major hospitals also send digital CT scan reports to a cloud system for processing using IoHT. Moreover, a large amount of patient data is routinely manually collected in hospitals by using stand-alone   medical devices, including vital signs. Such data is sometimes stored in spread sheets, not forming part of patients’ electronic health records, and is therefore difficult for caregivers to combine and analyse. One possible solution to overcome these limitations is the  interconnection of medical  devices via  IoHT.  Therefore, IoHT provides the solution to many problems that otherwise are difficult to solve manually. The book provides the latest research areas and concepts in the proposed subject. Various practical applications and case studies are covered in this book which will create an interest among readers. This book will help readers grasp the latest viewpoint and the quintessence of the recent advances that are happening around the world in this
area.
